Who Am I?

Jason Landals?

Yes, that’s me. By the way I’m the one on the left. Born and currently residing in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Jason is known as an editor and reviewer for The Tech Zone. At least that’s how I would think my biography would start at this point in my life. I’ve been a writer for The Tech Zone since 2001, and have previously been known by the alias of Decius.

There’s me with the rest of the crew. They’re actually more of a loose affiliation of media-types and owners. But hey, we know how to party. Outside of my work with The Tech Zone, I’m still a full blown computer geek. I own four systems, each with a specialized purpose in mind (gaming, entertainment, work, and learning). I currently work at a very old technology company with three specific letters in their name. I can’t really reveal the name though.

Being an Edmontonian, be default I’m an avid hockey fan and follow the Edmonton Oilers as close as time allows. When I go outside (yes that does happen, just have to wait for it to warm up), I can be seen strolling through the downtown core during spring and fall, and riding my bike through the river valley during the two weeks of summer we get.

So there we are. I’m hoping to give everyone a look behind the scenes of the articles, to see what goes into a review. You’ll also get to see previews of the various toys I get play with before they hit the TTZ front page. That’s pretty much the gist of this whole endeavour though; it’s a dynamic story about a guy and the cool toys he gets to play with, the places he gets to go, and the people he gets to meet. I hope you enjoy your stay.
